In a statement Thursday, Sheikh Qasim strongly condemned President Donald Trump’s threat to Ayatollah Khamenei.
He said Trump’s humiliation and threats reflected the US president’s sense of ignorance, stupidity and inaccuracy in assessing the issues and outcomes.
Trump’s actions constitute a humiliation against all Muslims and their sanctuaries, and place heavy responsibility on all noble Muslim countries, he added.
The leading Bahrainian priests praised Ayatollah Khamenei as a unique leader, a great epitome of the essence of the Quranic in the present era, Press TV reported.
He emphasized that the leader of Iranian Ayatollah Khamenei and his important role demonstrated the sincere loyalty of the leader to the Holy Qur’an.
In conventionally despicable words last week, the US president claimed that he launched a violent abuse in Ayatollah Khamenei, preventing the Israeli regime and the US military from assassinating him.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragci advised Trump last week to show respect for Ayatollah Khamenei if he really wants to do business with Iran.
“If President Trump is genuine about his desire to do business, he should put aside his rude and unacceptable tone against Iran’s … leader Grand Ayatollah Khamenei,” the diplomat wrote early in a social media post.
On June 22, the United States formally joined the Israeli war of attacks on Iran by launching an attack on the country’s three nuclear facilities in violation of the UN Charter and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
Trump unilaterally announced the ceasefire two days later, shortly after Iranian forces launched a missile attack on a major U.S. Air Force base in Qatar in retaliation.
