Argentine geopolitical analyst Ursula Asta sees the actions of the Zionist regime in West Asia as part of a broader project aimed at maintaining Western hegemony and preventing the decline of the US-led unipolar world order. In this interview, she highlights the political vulnerability of the Israeli regime and the prominent role of neoconservatives in the political structure of the US, and argues that the administration relies on war and targeted assassinations against Iran not from genuine security concerns, but from strategic efforts to maintain geopolitical control and consolidate Terran integration. Asta also criticizes the double standards of international organizations, the silence of the West in the face of war crimes, and the role of mainstream media in distorting reality. She highlights the urgent need to build an independent front to counter the agenda of the Western empire. Below is the full text of this exclusive interview with an Argentine analyst.
“The world has recently witnessed a fierce attack by the Israeli regime against Iran and its people. In your opinion, why is this regime committed such crimes against unprotected civilians in Gaza, Lebanon and Iran?
Netanyahu can be said to have some basic reasons why he began escalating the attacks and war with Iran.
Among these factors, we can consider the Weekness, as well as the factors of Netanyahu’s political, and even legal, as well as the factors of his political coalition. This makes it seem necessary to seize power and stick to war as a central element to ensure his own political survival.
On another level, in pursuit of projecting “great Israel,” Iran is just as a barrier to Israel’s attempts to maintain its nuclear monopoly in the region.
As the US Trump administration faces strong internal conflicts and believes Israel’s domination of the Western Asia region is strategic, Zionist or neoconservative factions, which have become “opportunities” for Israel, see it as “opportunities” for Israel.
“The Israeli regime claims to be targeting Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, which have clearly hit hospitals, infrastructure and media agencies, with many of the victims being women and children. How can this contradiction be explained? What is the real purpose behind these actions?”
This situation shows that Israel is seeking and continuing to seek through all measures to prevent the nuclear deal between Washington and Tehran. In other words, beyond the narrative it seeks to promote, the attack should not only prevent what Israel claims, but also not develop nuclear weapons, media reports say the IAEA itself has ruled out, but specifically, it has already blocked a six-round agreement between the Iran and the US labor conference. Furthermore, it is related to mentioning Israel’s argument combined with the claim that Iran wanted a “change of regime” with the claim that it essentially returns to a period of revolution before 1979. Paravi The dictatorship was more consistent with the Western geopolitical bloc and therefore Israel.
“The UN and many human rights groups document the Israeli regime’s war crimes, but the Western government continues to support it military and politically. Why do you think the West is primarily silent in the face of these crimes?”
Netanyahu recognizes that there are neoconservatives and Zionists within the Trump administration, which supports the “great Israel” plan to absorb Palestinian territory and stand up to Iran as the enemy of its major regional areas. Thus, as well as efforts decades ago, the fundamental purpose of these neoconservatives in projects in the new American century is to control Western Asia. That control will allow us to reestablish the US global advantage. This intent was clear during the Bush administration, including the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq.
Pope Francis once said, “We live in World War III, but in chapters, in chapters.” Perhaps it is important for us to better understand the global situation that many characterize as hybrid wars, but to reflect how these same western sectors perceive the ongoing changes in the Afroiola disease region. Within that context, Israel acts as a hub for the region.
“Western media often portraying the Israeli regime as “self-defense” while ignoring the civilian massacres of Gaza, Lebanon and Iran, and assassination campaigns. How do you interpret this media bias?
Just as Israel’s official propaganda once suggested, the mythical iron dome proved not immortal, a paradox emerges where those who claim to be beating war cannot celebrate on their territory, but cannot face pain or mourning instead.
As we discussed power relations before, the media cannot understand outside the stage of that struggle. From South America, where I respond, we are in the hemisphere dominated by the stories of us and the British. Nevertheless, despite the advantages of major media outlets, there are always alternative media sources that contribute from a different perspective and engage in more thoughtful searching for information, providing offset to the mainstream.
Perhaps advances in information and communications technology have exposed them to more mass murder than ever before when they are distributed on social media. Some stories that denies these events seem obscene, especially given the significant humanitarian crisis facing people like the people of Gaza.
“What do you think is the long-term goal of the Zionist regime’s aggressive and expandist policies? What threats do these ambitions pose to our Middle Eastern neighbors?”
As mentioned earlier, the balance of power in the Middle East has shifted to the damage to western geopolitical interests. The region is increasingly changing into an emerging world, including BRICS, which poses a challenge for Israel, which is pursuing positive policies.
It is important to highlight, for example, the Iran-Saudi Arabia diplomatic agreement and China’s important role in promoting it. Similarly, Iran, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates have joined BRICS+, and Saudi Arabia is in the process of defining its position in relation to the group. Turkey is also involved as a BRICS partner. Furthermore, there is a comprehensive strategic agreement between Iran and Russia, and an Iranian agreement with China, including infrastructure, industry and oil, along with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
For these reasons, the entire region (historic and currently important global logistics hub and a major producer of hydrocarbons and oil) is about to become part of the construction of an emerging world order. In contrast, Israel, consistent with Western Niiho anvatism, appears to be determined to move towards war in an attempt to stop these trends that are disadvantaged by strategic interests.
“What is your personal reaction to this regime and recent attacks on civilian killings against Iran? What message do you want to share?”
I condemn the murder and believe it is important to focus on the humanitarian aspects when discussing geopolitical events. The moral aspects of regional reconstruction remain absent in the strategic calculations of war-seeking people as human deaths continue to be counted. In this way, the enormous hypocrisy becomes blatantly clear.
Like the killing of civilians in Iran, the dramatic situation and genocide in the Gaza Strip should be reflected worldwide. Israel’s decision to block humanitarian aid is a different form of war. Even many journalists were killed again with the aim of hiding information and distorting the story.
“The United States routinely rejects solutions that condemn the crimes of the Israeli regime. In your opinion, does US policy allow and maintain these attacks?
Israel serves as a geopolitical west hub for the region, with certain sectors perceived as gradually changing the balance of forces in a direction that undermines their interests.
Without taking into account this broad picture revealing the reality of declining economic and military power in the United Nations, it is impossible to fully understand the dynamics of veto power at the United Nations. This decline is neither absolute nor decisive, but it is clear. This also helps explain US policies, such as imposing tariffs, increasing tensions with China, exponential increases in military spending, and pushing for increased spending within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
Starting with a hybrid and fragmented WWI paper, there are key elements that coincide with the logic of hegemonic decline in the United States. And the United States is actually behind Israel.
Multipolarity is no longer just a desire. Now it’s an operational reality. The US-led unipolar order is collapsed not only due to the rise of rival powers, but also due to the internal contradictions of its own and the overreach of the empire that has characterized the last decades of its global domination.
“The Israeli regime owns illegal nuclear weapons without IAEA surveillance, but attacks Iran under the pretext of nuclear concern. Isn’t this a clear example of the double standard of global norms? How should the international community deal with this hypocrisy?”
Iran has been Israel’s main enemy in the region since 1979, following the Islamic Revolution in Iran. As mentioned earlier, Israel has decided to prevent the sacrificing nuclear agreement between Iran and the United States. In fact, in 2018, the United States withdrew from multilateral talks, including other countries on Iran’s nuclear development policy. Clearly, there is a major contradiction in the fact that Israel is not under IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) surveillance, but other countries do.
At this point it is essential to discuss the effectiveness of international mechanisms established after World War II. The new era, born out of current geopolitical debates, points directly to this issue and should not be overlooked.
I will return to this last point because of its relevance in the international community and its serious discussion of hypocrisy within it. In this context, at least three major conflict zones are currently deployed worldwide. They are all interrelated in some way. They are all in Eurasia. The US economic and technical weaknesses help explain the military strategy the US is pursuing, especially due to the fierce competition with China, with the rise of emerging forces such as the BRICS.
As mentioned earlier, key developments are consistent with the broader logic of our hegemonic decline. This includes everything that has discussed West Asia or the Middle East, Ukraine and NATO face a setback in the conflict with Russia, and the growing tensions between the US and China over Taiwan. While significant developments are also taking place in Africa and Latin America, the focus on these Eurasian zones is due to the direct involvement of the great powers and their importance in shaping the future global order.
