In a statement released Thursday, the Yemeni military said it had used the Zulfiqar ballistic missile in surgery, Press TV reported.
The Yemeni missile attack “achieved that target” and “successfully” caused air sirens to raid in more than 300 towns and cities across Israel’s occupied territory.
The operation sent millions of Zionists to shelters and stopped air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport.
In their statement, the Yemeni army also vowed to continue developing its military capabilities and strengthen its battle in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians.
They further stated that they are working to expand attacks on targets on occupied land and expand Israel-linked vessels.
“These surgeries will continue until the attack on Gaza ceases and the lockdown is lifted,” they emphasized.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces claimed they had intercepted missiles fired from Yemen.
Recently, Yemeni forces sank two Israeli-bound ships, the Magic Sea and the Eternal C, after violating a voyage ban in the Red Sea.
The Yemeni army launched a campaign in November 2023 against Israel-linked ships and targets.
Yemen halted its attack in January when Israel accepted the Gaza ceasefire.
But two months later, Israel unilaterally defeated the Gaza ceasefire, resuming its aggression and urged Yemeni forces to resume operations to support the Palestinians.
