President Pezeschkian said he had toured Tehran’s oil ministry and accompanied him to the military’s capabilities and missiles, and the capabilities and missiles of those who stand alongside the troops that shattered the image of the Zionist regime in recent wars.
Addressing the oil minister and oil officials, Pezeschkian said, “You have destabilized the country by thwarting enemy conspiracies alongside other social segments with timely wisdom and insight.”
He added, “Without the unity and solidarity of the people alongside the army whose capabilities and missiles shattered the Zionist regime’s rog arrogance, our success and victory would not have been possible.”
Investment in the oil industry is necessary
The president highlighted the important role of the Ministry of Oil in managing energy production and consumption, saying that success in this sector will depend on accurate, up-to-date, comprehensive data that called for strong intersectoral coordination to improve energy management.
Pezeshkian highlighted the importance of attracting investment in the oil sector, noting that many individuals and groups have expressed interest in funding energy production and consumption projects.
He also highlighted the need to accelerate the construction of clean energy infrastructure, particularly solar power plants, to reduce reliance on subsidised gas and diesel in power generation.
Iran does not succumb to pressure
The president urges officials from the Petroleum Ministry to conduct a thorough assessment, utilize existing expertise, and develop optimal energy management strategies, and “considering all the opportunities, threats and possibilities to prevent energy shortages this winter,” he said.
Pezeshkian praised his successful efforts to combat fuel smuggling, manage consumption and improve efficiency.
Regarding foreign policy, he reiterated his government’s commitment to peace, saying, “War’s interests are that while we reject bullying, we do not seek internal unity, friendship with our neighbors, global stability, we will never submit to coercion or greed.”
The criminal Israeli regime fought a war of attack on Iran’s territory on June 13, which led to the martial teaching of senior Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists and innocent people (civilians). The devastating response from the Iranian army has crippled the regime, and forced its main supporters to stop their attacks.
