Iran’s defense minister made the comment on Monday in separate telephone conversations with counterparts from Türkiye and Malaysia.
“The Islamic Republic does not ask for the spread of war and unrest in the region, but is ready to respond by shattering and resolutely pursuing the adventurist acts of invaders,” General Nasirzaden told the Turkish defence minister.
“The Islamic Republic does not trust a ceasefire, and therefore it anticipates a variety of new adventurism scenarios,” he further told Turkish opposition.
Turkish Defense Minister Yashal Güller expressed satisfaction and happiness in the ceasefire, saying on his part, “I believe nuclear negotiations should conclude with a reasonable agreement that benefits Iran and the region.”
Nasirzadeh also thanked Malaysia’s government for his strong stance on supporting Iran’s Islamic Republic during an unfair war against the US and the Zionist regime.
The Malaysian said on his part that Iran is a friendly and reliable country for Malaysia, adding that “we blamed Israel on the war and therefore firmly condemned this attack from the start.”
The Malaysian Defense Minister also praised the performance of the Iranian military and people for the unity and courage he showed in the wars of the 12 wars, adding, “Israel is confident that it will not achieve its goals in the Middle East, and Iran shows that Israel’s words and claims are nothing more than fiction.”
