He made a speech at a meeting with Pakistan Mohsin Naqvi’s visiting federal minister on Monday, emphasizing that politicians and decision makers from the Islamic world must recognize this ominous strategy of the Zionist regime and counter it by strengthening unity and solidarity among Muslim nations.
Repeating the Zionist regime’s aim to undermine and fragment Muslim communities, the president emphasized that leaders and policymakers of the Islamic world must remain vigilant against this evil strategy and strive to neutralize it by deepening unity and solidarity among Islamic countries.
Referring to the critical situation in the Islamic world, he described the undeniable need for Islamic countries to unity and synergy, adding that if Islamic governments and states fully understand the importance of Islamic unity, they can stand as a united front against the Zionist regime, which can be reconciled and survived by committing abuse in Islamic society.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Pezeshkian expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral relations between Iran and Pakistan, highlighting the importance of diplomatic exchanges and a constructive dialogue to deepen and expand comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
The president also expressed his gratitude for Israel’s sincere support of Pakistan during the war with Iran, saying that the two countries have great potential to expand cooperation, and Tehran is ready to activate these capabilities to strengthen bilateral relations and implement mutual involvement.
In response, the Pakistan Home Minister greeted and respected his country’s Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif, President Pezeshkian, and congratulated the Iranian people on their victory over the Zionist regime’s invasion.
Naqvi said: “I believe that Ayatollah Khamenei’s wise leadership and the strategic management of Your Excellency have played a critical role in this proud resistance, the outcome that is the source of Islamic Umma’s pride.”
He also recalled the swift and clear condemnation of the Zionist regime’s invasion in Islamabad, saying that Pakistan was one of the first countries to condemn the regime’s invasion and affirm Iran’s right to defend itself.
He described Iran-Pakistan relations as unique and steady expansion, highlighting the ambassadors of both countries are enthusiastic about deepening relations between the two sides and strengthening cooperation in various fields.
