On the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference in Tianjin, eastern China, Iran’s top diplomat met with his Indian counterpart, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, to discuss the issues of bilateral relations and mutual interest.
Jaishankar wrote on his X account after meeting Araghchi on Tuesday that “it’s better to catch up with the bystanders of the SCO Foreign Minister held at Tianjin this time.”
At another meeting, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi met with Pakistani counterpart Mohammad Ishak Dalherb to discuss bilateral relations.
“Both leaders have reviewed bilateral cooperation in diverse regions and discussed the evolving local situation following the recent Israeli attack on Iran,” Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said in its official X account.

According to the ministry, Ishaq Dal “reaffirmed the unwavering solidarity between the Iranian people in Pakistan and the government and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in the region.”
He also emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy “continues to be the only viable path to escalation and enduring peace.” The ministry added to the post with three photos of the video and meeting between Pakistan’s deputy prime ministers, Aragichi and Ishak Dah.
Pakistan was one of the first countries and strongly condemned Israel’s war of attack on Iran, he said.
The Israeli regime fought a war of attack on Iran on June 13, targeting Iran’s nuclear land, infrastructure and residential areas. The attack, filled by a strong response from Iran, ended with a ceasefire 12 days later.
The top Iranian diplomats departed Tehran for China on Monday and led a high-ranking delegation at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
