In a statement Tuesday, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghhai expressed deep concern over the conflict that took place in the Sweida region of southern Syria, leading to the deaths of dozens of citizens and condemned military attacks by the Geonist system on the Syria over the past two days.
While continuing its continued military attacks by the Zionist regime on the integrity of Syria’s territorial territories and occupying most of the country’s territory, Iranian spokesmen have considered the continued inaction of the UN Security Council and faced aggressive actions against the Zionist regime.
Baghaei emphasized the need for the region and the Islamic world to pay attention to the need to stop the lawlessness and crime of the Zionist regime, including the regime’s unprecedented genocide in Gaza and the continued attacks on Syria and Lebanon. He also noted the responsibility of the international community to prevent the Tel Aviv administration from continuing the total violation of international law and the UN Charter.
Israeli fighters launched an airstrike on the Syrian HTS-led regime’s position in South Sweida on Tuesday, in another offensive act aimed at destabilizing the region.
The Israeli government also killed at least 12 people in an airstrike in Tolebanon on Tuesday in the most fatal violation of the ceasefire that took effect last November.
Additionally, Israeli forces have fled the besieged north after killing more than 50 Palestinians in Gaza since dawn on Tuesday, and thousands of civilians threatened to attack the “battle zone.”
