Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragci has had a telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatti to discuss the development of the region, according to a statement released by Iran’s Foreign Ministry.
In the conversation, Aragut expressed deep concern about the recent developments in Syria, the attacks of the Zionist regime on that country and Lebanon, and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Top Iranian diplomats also highlighted the urgent need for coordinated action by regional countries to confront the warmth and expansionist policies of Zionist regimes that destabilize the entire region.
Egyptian Foreign Minister reaffirmed Cairo’s position against Syrian territorial integrity, the preservation of the rights of all minorities, and attempts to fragment the country.
