In an article published by Yedioth Ahronoth, Yoav Zitun said, “The public is being lying and advertised. Just as it was done in the 10 years (operation) until October 7th, and every battle with Hamas.”
The recent Israeli deployment was portrayed as “surges and maneuvering” within the strip, referring to the deployment of about 4-5 divisions to Gaza.
This article also covered repeated announcements of Israeli Army management. For “60% or 75% of Gaza Territory,” it pops up as a notification on mobile phones for hundreds of thousands of settlers.
The author emphasized, “If the war actually ends in the coming months, Hamas will still be present with over 10,000 fighters.”
Zitun also cited Aboud Hamas’ remarks by Nahal Brigade’s battalion commander last year, saying, “It’s at least a decade of battle to discover and destroy its capabilities.”
“Hamas has built a massive infrastructure over the years on every part of the strip without interference. Any other claims about the impending victory or destruction of the enemy is simply nonsense,” added the long-fought commander in Gaza.
According to the article, “Hamas is still standing. It has limited and corrupted command and control features, but it still stands.”
Zitun also cited Field Commander saying, “It’s a shame that the illusion is on sale to the public. It all ends soon and will achieve a decisive outcome in Gaza in the near future.”
Israel began a genocide war with Gaza from October 7, 2023, after Palestinian resistance fighters engaged in a surprising Al Aksa Storm operation against a decades of blood and destruction against the Palestinians.
The regime’s bloody onslaught in Gaza has killed at least 58,667 Palestinians, mostly women and children so far.
