Israeli forces fired volleys of live ammunition at the crowd, resulting in numerous casualties, the agency said.
Around 900 Palestinians have been killed in recent weeks while seeking much needed humanitarian assistance at sites primarily associated with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
Israeli forces have rejected international calls for a ceasefire and have pursued brutal attacks in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, killing nearly 59,000 Palestinians so far. The relentless bombardment destroyed the enclave, leading to food shortages and spreading disease.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former war minister Joab Gallant.
