Mojtaba Ferdowsipoor discussed with Aragut in Tehran on Saturday before departing for Egypt.
At the meeting, Ferdowsipoor presented a report on the current state of the relationship between Tehran and Cairo, and a proposed plan to strengthen and strengthen bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest.
Aragut said he was pleased with the increase in contact and meetings between Iranian and Egyptian officials.
The Foreign Minister also emphasized the importance of continuing bilateral consultations with the aim of expanding relations in the region and strengthening peace and stability.
He further emphasized the important role of the Iranian interest section in Cairo for this purpose.
Ferdowsipoor previously served as Iranian Charjeda Fair in Jordan and Lebanon, with a second director of the Persian Gulf, director of the 1st Middle East and North Africa division, director of the Persian Gulf and Middle East Studies Center, head of the Politics and International Studies Institute (IPI), and ambassador to Iranian ambassador.
