According to a report by WAFA News Agency, the death toll included 38, waiting to receive humanitarian assistance at the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) distribution site. Israeli forces fired at two GHF sites in the southern Gaza city of Khan Eunice and Rafa.
Three children also died of malnutrition over that period.
According to international organizations, around 900 people have already died trying to receive humanitarian aid since the GHF began operations in late May.
Gaza’s health ministry reported that Enclave’s hospitals are full of people suffering from malnutrition, Qatar-based Al Jazeera Television reported. He also said that around 17,000 children in Gaza have experienced severe malnutrition.
International humanitarian aid has not been delivered to Gaza since March 2, 2025, when Israel decided to close all border checkpoints.
On May 18, Israeli forces began hostilities in the northern and southern regions of the Gaza Strip.
