In a post on his X account on Sunday, Abbas Araghchi outlined why E3 lacked legal, political and moral status to invoke mechanisms of JCPOA and UN resolution in a letter addressed to the Security Council President EU High Rep Kaja and members of the UN Security Council.

UNSC Resolution 2231 approved the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and the world powers.
The post spoke to local Iranian media, a source that announced that Tehran has reached an agreement with three European powers to hold talks on Iran’s nuclear issue.
Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Al Mayaden said on Sunday that Iran’s negotiations for a new round with representatives from the European troika (UK, Germany and France) will be held at the level of the vice minister early next week.
