Israeli media reported on continued rail turmoil over the past 10 days in various parts of the occupying region.
The first reported failure occurred on July 13th, with KOL Haire announced the suspension of light rail services between Tel Aviv and the occupied AL QUDS due to “dangerous technical negligence.”
On July 14th, TLV Online revealed that a significant portion of the administration’s rail network had been closed indefinitely following another unidentified malfunction.
By July 16, YNET cited the Israeli Railway to signalling errors and confirmed that the fire had stopped all train operations between Ashdod and Ashkelon.
A series of mistakes has left thousands of daily commuters stuck and furious.
The railroad company has issued a statement in response to the rise in public criticism, claiming that the technical team is still investigating the root cause of the breakdown.
Despite repeated assurances, authorities have not yet determined the cause of the confusion.
The transport crisis will affect cities such as Holon and occupied AL-QUDS amid the widespread power outage caused by fires in high voltage infrastructure in the southern districts.
