Iran is planning to send its satellites to space mounted on a Russian Soyuz rocket on Friday, July 25th, 2025.
The launch will take place at 9:54am from Vostochny Cosmodrome in the Russian Far East at Iranian time.
The Soyuz launcher has two major satellites, Ionsosphere-M No. 3 and No. 4, and 18 small payloads.
The mission is part of Russia’s continued multi-satellite launch program aimed at deploying science, research and commercial satellites into Earth’s orbit.
The Soyuz rocket was installed on launch pad 1-s on the Vostochny site on July 22nd, in preparation for the mission.
The logos of the Iranian Space Agency and the Iranian Space Research Center are attached to the body of Russian rockets.
Russian officials have not released details about the small satellite, including the country of origin or specific missions.
