The Iraqi state and government are on the same boat as Iran and the government in that the removal of US troops from Iraq and the region establishes stability and security.
Iranian MP Ebrahim Rezai stressed the need for the US to withdraw from Tehran, saying Washington is unreliable and Israel is pursuing expansionist policies.

Iraqi laws regarding the withdrawal of US troops are currently in force. Iraqi PM believes they must be expelled in the face of US-backed terrorist elements, armed groups and spies that exist in Iraq.
It was on January 3, 2020 that US troops assassinated Iranian Lieutenant Colonel Qasem Soleiman at Baghdad Airport under the orders of then-President Donald Trump. He was officially invited to Iraq, and General Soleimani was attacked.
