The Iranian parliamentary delegation, led by the head of the Belarus-Iranian Parliamentary Cooperation Group of Iranian Ali Asgal Bagierzadeh’s Islamic Council, is visiting Belarus on an invitation from the House of Representatives.
During the visit, Iranian parliamentary delegation met with Natalia Kochanova, chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Belarus, and held consultations.
“Iran and Belarus are like-minded, our policies have always been independent and maintained territorial integrity,” Ali Asgal Baghelzadeh said at the meeting.
He expressed his hope that senior parliamentary officials could make an immediate visit to Belarus, and that these visits could be a turning point for relations between the two countries.
The chairman of the Council of the Republic of Belarus also emphasized that Belarus appreciates the developed relationship between Belarus and the Iranian people.
