Speaking in this Friday prayer sermon, Abu Travi Fard mentioned the 12-day war imposed by Israel, saying that from the first hours of enemy invasion, strong bonds between the highest levels of the nation, state, sovereignty and territory had formed within Iran.
“The Iranian state has created the most spectacular national unity and social unity. Unity and unity do not know the boundaries. We must cherish this precious asset and take steps to protect it with rationality, science, knowledge, understanding, faith and decoration.
He further emphasized that the 12-day war has brought one of Tel Aviv’s most complex strategic challenges, based on information gathered from more than 20 official Hebrew, Arab and Western sources. “Damages (Iran) inflicted on the administration (Iran) due to unprecedented censorship of the Zionist regime’s media undertaken under the supervision and control of security agencies, amounting to $3-35 billion, equivalent to 8% of the administration’s annual GDP.”
He emphasized that while Iran’s military and security agencies are fully prepared to respond decisively to enemy aggression, the Israeli regime, which has experienced a serious defeat to Iranian power, appears to be fully aware that another miscalculation will destroy its military and economic backbone.
The Zionist regime fought a war of attack on Iran on June 13, attacking Iranian troops, nuclear and residential areas for 12 days, but the US carried out a military attack on three nuclear facilities in Iran, Natanz, Fordou and Isfahan on June 22.
Iranian troops carried out a powerful counterattack shortly after the attack. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Aerospace Force implemented 22 waves of retaliation missiles against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III, which caused significant losses to cities throughout the occupying territories.
In response to the US attack, Iranian forces fired waves of missiles at Aldead Air Force Base in Qatar, the largest US military base in West Asia.
The battle was suspended due to a ceasefire that came into effect on June 24th.
