In a post on the X account on Saturday, Pakistan Prime Minister wrote:
“We look forward to substantial engagement during this important visit that paves the way for strong relations between Pakistan and Iran,” he added.
After receiving Iranian President Maud Pezeshkian, who visited on Saturday, Pakistan’s Punjab Prime Minister Mariam Nawaz Sharif wrote on her X account that Pakistan and Iran are one soul of two bodies.
Iranian President Masuud Pezeshkian arrived in Lahore, the historic city of Punjab’s capital, Lahore, on Saturday, on the first round of his official visit to Pakistan.
Upon his arrival, President Pezeshkian was received by Punjab Prime Minister Mariam Nawaz Sharif and the Iranian Consul General in Lahore.
