Amir Khatami, commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stressed that Iran does not believe the threat to its enemy is over, saying that the Zionist regime’s plan failed after witnessing a miraculous revival of the Iranian state.
Speaking to the commanders and staff of the Army Ground Forces on Sunday, Khatami described the Zionist regime as a hostile and stubborn enemy whose crimes against the Iranian state were revealed during the 12-day imposed war. He noted that Israel’s brutal actions have been seen repeatedly both in Gaza over the past two years and during the regime’s more than 80 years of existence through attacks on other countries.
He added that despite suffering from losses from senior commanders, well-known scientists and honorable citizen martials, Iran will win in unequal conflicts, causing serious damage to its enemy and preventing its goals.
Khatami emphasized that Iran’s missile and drone capabilities remain operational, just as retaliatory attacks continued until the moment before the ceasefire was imposed. He emphasized that Iran will pursue its path in the defense industry, science and technology with greater determination than before.
The Army Chief said that global arrogance is opposed to the Islamic Republic because of its religious identity, patriotism and advances to a scientific peak. He said that all branches of the military, including four of the Army’s forces, are rapidly advancing science and technology, and are more determined than ever to strengthen combat readiness for comprehensive defense.
The Zionist regime fought a war of aggression against Iran on June 13, attacking Iranian troops, nuclear power and residential areas for 12 days, but the US launched a military attack on three nuclear sites in Iran, Natanz, Fordau and Isfahan on June 22.
Iranian troops carried out a powerful counterattack shortly after the attack. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Aerospace Force implemented 22 waves of retaliation missiles against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III, which caused significant losses to cities throughout the occupying territories.
In response to the US attack, Iranian forces fired waves of missiles at Aldead Air Force Base in Qatar, the largest US military base in West Asia.
The battle was suspended due to a ceasefire that came into effect on June 24th.
