Tolerating the families of the victims of the tragic incident, including Ghana’s Minister of Defense, an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman expressed sympathy for the Ghanaian government and people.
The helicopter took off from the capital Accra on Wednesday morning, heading northwest towards the gold layer area of Ooasi in the Ashanti region and off the radar. The wreckage was later discovered in the Ashanti area.
Ghana’s Minister of Defense and Environment was killed in a crash of a military helicopter in the central Ashanti region, killing six other people.
