On Sunday afternoon, Araghchi spoke about the bystanders of the cabinet meeting, chaired by President Masoud Pezeshkian, where he told journalists, “The negotiations with the IAEA will be held to determine a framework for cooperation. No cooperation will begin. This framework is also based on laws approved by the Iranian parliament.
He continued, “Contact with Europeans continues. They raised the issue of snapback mechanisms, but our position is that snapback is not related. Europe is not considered a JCPOA participant in our opinion. Of course, there are technical and legal arguments in which my colleagues are in contact with Europeans, but they are not suitable for the next match.”
