In an interview published Monday by the Daily Newspaper La Stampa, Crosetto said: “We are not accepting what is happening. We are not facing military operations with collateral damage, but we are facing the pure denial of the law and the value of civilization’s establishment.”
He said, “We are committed to humanitarian assistance, but now we have to find a way to force Netanyahu to think clearly.”
Asked about the possibility of international sanctions on the Israeli regime, Crossett said, “The Gaza occupation and some serious actions in the West Bank represent a qualitative leap to have to make a decision to consider Netanyahu.”
These remarks came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended his plan to take control of Gaza city and target the remaining Hamas fortresses.
