Major General Musabi spoke at a meeting with a visiting South African delegation led by South African Defence Force Chief Luzzani Mahwana in Tehran on Tuesday.
The Iranian military chief of staff said, “Today, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard is known as the world’s largest anti-terrorist force and has the valuable experience to offer to South Africa,” and announced the preparations of the Islamic Republic of Iran to develop military and defence cooperation with South Africa.
Before meeting General Musabi, the South African military delegation was received by Commander Amir Khatami, a major general of Iranian Army. Amir Khatami called for greater military cooperation with South Africa.
