The Asia Paralympic Committee (APC) held a prestigious Asia Awards ceremony in Astana, Kazakhstan on August 13th, celebrating the region’s most outstanding contributors to the Paralympic movement, according to the Tehran Times.
The event took place during APC’s groundbreaking week, which also includes the 2025 conference and general meeting.
Three-time Paralympic champion Nemati replaced Mirado Basilli as head coach of Iran’s para-archery team shortly after the 2024 Paralympic Games.
She is also a two-time World Archery Para Champion in Bangkok 2013 and Beijing 2017, and was awarded the Next Generation Leader Award in 2021 for her campaign on Women’s Rights and Disabilities in Sports, and was recognized by the International Paralympic Committee.
