Speaking at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishtin, who is a bystander at Kyrgyzstan’s Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) summit on Friday morning, Mohammad Reza Alev said he welcomed understanding and cooperation aimed at promoting expansion and close ties between the region and neighbors and neighbors.
Alev stressed that, like Russia, Iran’s Islamic Republic should oppose the unilateral opposition of the US around the world, pursuing multilateralism strategies and regional security and stability with support for regional states.
Referring to Iran’s nuclear negotiations, he said that while Iran has always sought dialogue and trust on peaceful nuclear activities, Western countries have transformed Iran’s nuclear issue into a political project from the start. He emphasized that Iran has never sought the non-psychic use of technology, particularly nuclear technology.
Condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza, the First Vice President said Zionists must attempt to consolidate the attacks in Gaza, deny the residents the right to live, and strengthen their cooperation to prevent these crimes.
He also emphasized the need to deepen and expand relations between Tehran and Moscow in a variety of areas, including energy, tourism, transportation, railways and corridors.
Mikhail Missistan said the implementation of the free trade agreement between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union will have an impact on increasing the scope of relations with regional countries in various sectors, and that establishing North and North-South corridors in this regard is essentially important in deepening these relations.
The Russian Prime Minister mentioned the development of the Caucasus region, highlighting that all countries in the region must have relationships based on the principles of good neighbours and together they can build the future of the region.
