An international Greco-Roman wrestling competition under the name of the Ljubomir Ivanovic Gedza Cup was held in Muradenovak, Serbia. The Iranian Greco-Roman wrestling team participated in the event, with several weight classes being represented.
Hossein Ostad Mohammad Memar, 87 kg, won the gold medal in the Lyubomir Ivanovic Guetza Cup, featuring wrestlers from major countries around the world, including Serbia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, Sweden, Romania, Croatia, Belarus, Iran, Mohammad Puya Adadi, 55 kg, Lezaa Gaitasy’s Mohammad Puya Gappadai and Lezaa Gaitasy.
Meanwhile, Iman Mohammadi in the 72 kg class bagged the Iranian silver medal, 77 kg Amir Medi Saiedi Nava, 82 kg Alileza Mohamad Hosenei, 87 kg Yasin Yazin Yazin, and 130 kg Yayub Hossenband Yasin Yazin.
At the end of the tournament, the Iranian team closed the title with a total of eight medals.
