The Iranian president made comments at a meeting Wednesday between the chairman of Belarus Natalya Kochanova in Minsk and the chairman of Minsk Igor Sergenko.
Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to fully implementing this roadmap and achieving its objectives, and expressed his hope that the experience gained will contribute to the development of a long-term strategic cooperation framework between the two countries.
He also said that the determination that exists between officials of both countries allows them to create realistic programmes for key developmental goals between Iran and Belarus.
He also reiterated Iran’s serious commitment to pursuing agreements and cooperation in regional and international organizations such as the Eurasian Economic Union, BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Agency.
Tackling geopolitical tensions, Pezeshkian accused the Israeli regime of invasion of Iran, claiming that the Islamic Republic had never launched an attack on any country.
He also criticized the US’s attacks on peaceful nuclear facilities and highlighted the humanitarian crisis Palestinians face.
Kochanova expressed solidarity with Iran, condemning the Israeli regime’s aggression and emphasized that such an attack on peaceful nuclear facilities is against international law.
She praised Iran’s resilience to external pressure and reiterated Belarus’ support for Palestinian rights and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
She also highlighted the growing parliamentary cooperation between Iran and Belarus and expressed her satisfaction with the ongoing development of bilateral relations.
Selgenko described Belarus as a trusted friend and partner of Iran, saying he believes the visit marks a turning point in bilateral relations.
He pledged to work towards strengthening cooperation and developing a comprehensive roadmap for long-term cooperation between the two countries.
