In the first match, which began at 6:30am, Iran’s national youth volleyball team locked Kazakhstan and horns on the second hole of the tournament, winning their rivals 3-1.
Iran’s U-21 men’s volleyball team will face Puerto Rico in their second match of the qualifying round on Friday, August 22nd at 6:30pm
There are 24 teams participating in the round of this tournament. The top four teams in the final rankings of each six team pool will continue their quest for world honor in the elimination round leading up to the medal match on August 31st.
All 24 teams pass their respective playoff rounds (direct ups and downs) and fill all places from 1st to 24th in the final competition rankings.
