The Health Ministry said on Monday that at least 62,744 Palestinians had been killed in the war of massacres in Israel’s Gaza Strip.
According to a statement from the ministry, 58 people have been killed and 308 have been injured in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of injuries to 158,259, the Anadoru Agency (AA) reported.
The ministry also reported 11 new deaths from hunger and malnutrition, including two children, raising the hunger-related deaths to 300.
“Many casualties remain trapped on rubs and on the streets,” the ministry said, noting that rescuers still cannot reach them due to ongoing Israeli bombardment and lack of equipment.
Since Israel resumed its military campaign after breached the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement, the Ministry of Health said 10,900 Palestinians have been killed and 46,218 have been injured.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces have continued to target civilians who have sought humanitarian aid in the past 24 hours, killing 28 people and injuring 184 people.
According to the ministry, 2,123 Palestinians have been killed and more than 15,615 have been injured while seeking assistance since May 27th.
The complete lockdown in Israel’s Gaza Strip has created catastrophic conditions for the 2.4 million residents of Enclave since early March, leading to hunger, widespread illness and the collapse of essential services.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Joab Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel is also facing a genocide incident at the International Court of Justice over a war with the enclave.
