Secretary-General Hezbollah attended a ceremony held in Lebanon at the Lebanese monument.
The Hezbollah chief noted the anniversary of the loss of Imam Sayed Musa al-Sadr, saying, “Imam al-Sadr has brought about a fundamental change in the reality of Lebanon’s Islamic resistance.”
“Hezbollah’s coordination with the Lebanese army to defeat Takfiri’s group in the outskirts of Lebanon is a model that must be followed,” he told Elze.
He called on the Lebanese government to hold intensive sessions to study defense strategies to defend national sovereignty over Israeli violations.
“Resistance, by definition, faces attacks rather than preventing aggression,” emphasized Sheikh Naim.
“Hezbollah’s exceptional achievements throughout 40 years may have encouraged people to think that Israeli invasion was a failure of resistance,” he continued.
According to Hezbollah’s leader, “The United States has imposed Israeli will to make an anti-resistance decision on the Lebanese government. ”
“The US destructive efforts have thwarted aid, prevented gas projects and reconstruction, and imposed sanctions on Lebanon,” he further explained.
