General Amir Khatami, commander of the Iranian army, spoke at a ceremony marking the anniversary of Avisenna (Doctor’s Day) and Zakhalia al-Raj (Pharmacists Day), highlighting the important role of military health care in supporting national defense.
He emphasized that the military can perform important duties with strong, healthy and motivated personnel, celebrating the dedication of military doctors, pharmacists and medical staff.
Hatami concluded by affirming full support for command structures for the continued advancement of Army healthcare.
He emphasized Iran’s strategic need for a strong army, saying that in a world where invaders like the Zionist regime are trying to rule, Iran’s only path would be stronger and more capable.
Khatami said the Army is entrusted with a major mission to protect independence, territorial integrity and the Islamic Republic system, saying, “This mission is important in all countries, but due to its strategic and geopolitical position, it is more important and exceptional.
He continued that Iran had declared neutrality in World War I and World War II, but part of the country was occupied by attackers. “Even in eight years of sacred defense, we were once again attacked East and West when the Islamic Revolution won and when the Iranian state’s slogan was “Independence, Freedom, Islamic Republic.” ”
He said that Iran was attacked by the Zionist regime and the United States, even in the recent war, although it contradicts all the principles and rules of international law while officials were negotiating again.
“We live in an area where there is a child-killing regime, the doctrine that the country should not be stronger and greater than that. We live in a world where claimants of power want “peace through power.”
In such a world, Iran has no choice but to become strong and powerful, and the Army Secretary said, “We need a strong army to protect our country.”
On June 13, Israel launched a blatant, unprovoked attack on Iran, triggering a 12-day war that killed at least 1,064 people across the country, including military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary civilians.
The United States also took part in the war by bombing three nuclear sites in Iran with a serious violation of international law.
In response, Iranian forces targeted strategic sites across the occupying regions and Aldeid Air Force Base in Qatar, the largest US military base in West Asia.
On June 24, Iran managed to stop the terrorist invasion through successful retaliation operations against both the Israeli regime and the United States.
