Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh said Iranian troops have successfully achieved many of Israeli military targets in recent attacks and have overcome the defense system with sophisticated domestically developed missile technology.
In a session attended by Congress and defense officials on Wednesday, Nasirzadeh said the war that imposed Israel demonstrated vulnerability in Israel’s defense infrastructure.
The Islamic Republic can overcome Israel’s defense system with advanced domestically developed missile technology, he said.
Members of the Congress praised the military’s performance and pledged continued support to expand Iran’s defensive capabilities across various technical domains.
Israel launched an attack on Iran on June 13th, killing more than 1,000 people during the 12-day invasion. The US took part in the conflict on June 22nd, bombing three of Iran’s nuclear sites. Iran responded strongly to both invaders and called for a ceasefire from the invaders.
