Vice-chairman of the Assembly Article 90 Hossain Ali Ali Haji Deligani Committee told local Iranian media on Friday night that the Assembly has begun drafting an emergency three-part plan for the complete withdrawal from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), telling the plan that it will be approved tomorrow, to obtain approval that has been approved by the Justice Officer.
The lawmakers said the move by Iranian lawmakers is in response to Thursday’s move by three European powers that will formally inspire the process of snapbacking Iran’s UN sanctions within 30 days.
He also said the Congress would take other actions to make the three European states regret their actions against Iran.
Haji Deligani explained that Iran will withdraw from the NPT and so-called additional protocols in line with the three-part emergency plan in Congress.
Tehran also suspended negotiations between the US and three European countries, adding that “surveillance (inspection) cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency will be terminated.”
