In a stern ceremony commemorating the victims of the 12-day war imposed on Iran, the president on Thursday emphasized that Iran’s resilience once again demonstrated their loyalty and commitment to their country at the global stage.
During the event, Pezeschkian respected the memories of the martialists and expressed solidarity with his family. He has looked back on various conspiracies and hostility towards Iran, particularly since the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
The president criticized the legitimacy of the atrocities, particularly against the oppressed people in Gaza, and condemned shameful support from the US and European countries for the Israeli regime.
He said supporters of the administration will accus Iran of supporting terrorism and violating human rights, without acknowledging that he has never attacked other countries.
Pezeshkian pointed to the evil purpose of the Israeli regime and the United States against Iran in his attacks. He noted that their attempts to destabilize the country through the assassination of key Iranian officials backfired. The president emphasized that not only had the ominous goals failed, but that the entire Iranian people stood firm and defended their homeland.
He confirmed that Iran is not dependent on individuals, but instead is based on the infinite God’s power and faith of its people.
Pezeshkian described the pressure from the US and Western countries as an attempt to disarm, weak and vulnerable against Iranian armed attacks, highlighting the complete commitment of Iranian authorities to ensure the dignity and pride of the people while solving the problems of the people. Iranian officials are diminishing the war and seeking peace and tranquility, but they will respond decisively to any attack, he said.
