According to Mehr’s press, Ali Larijani, the secretary of the best national security council and advisor to the leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with Armenian Security Council Secretary, Armen Grigorian, on Saturday morning.
At the meeting, Larijani expressed Iran’s satisfaction with the level of economic, political, security and defence relations with Armenia, emphasized cooperation with its neighbors with its northern neighbours, completed the north-south corridor and linked the Persian Gulf to the Black Sea.
While declaring Iran’s support for the peace dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ali Larijani elaborates on Iran’s theory of peace and stability in the region, saying, “Iran has always supported the independence and strength of the regional states to ensure lasting security.”
On his part, an Armenian official described bilateral relations between the two countries as unprecedented, saying the purpose of the visit to Tehran was to expand relations on all dimensions. He added that Armenia is about to sign a comprehensive strategic partnership document with Iran in the near future.
The Armenian Security Council Secretary highlights five principles: national sovereignty, respect for territorial integrity, exercise of national jurisdiction, inviolability of borders, and principles of mutual relations. Geopolitical changes.
Grigorian also emphasized that in peace negotiations the agreement clearly preserved the exclusiveness of Armenia’s security, military and customs.
