Masuud Pezeshkian at the 25th Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Agency held in Tianjin, China on Monday morning, said the Islamic Republic is proposing to strengthen its “special explanation” initiative and financial cooperation with the aim of strengthening financial cooperation on the economic interaction of its members. He emphasized that the initiative is based on three main pillars: It will expand settlements in the country’s currency, reduce member reliance on dollars for transactions, launch joint digital infrastructure, use central bank digital currencies for secure and fast payments, create multilateral currency SWAP funds to help countries face institutional pressures.
“The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is a symbol of the peace-loving nature of seeking peace for members of the world facing a new crisis every day. Last June, the illegal military attacks by the Zionist regime and the United States on the Islamic Republic of Iran are illegal military attacks on the Zionist regime and the United States, along with the excessive expansion of the oppressed people, along with the excessive expansion of the oppressed people, and the illicit military attacks on the Zionist regime and the United States. To achieve an appropriate model of global governance and establish international peace and security,” Pezeshkian said in a speech at the SCO summit.
“Since its establishment, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has focused on principles of mutual trust and interests, equality, collective consultation, respect for cultural diversity and common development, setting the primary objectives of ensuring collective security in a variety of areas and expanding cooperation in line with these principles.
He went on to say that Tehran believes that Shanghai cooperative organizations must take concrete, concrete and transparent steps along two parallel pathways as one of the key pillars of multipolarity in the international system. “In this regard, I would like to highlight concrete proposals for a more organized pursuit of two essential efforts in the Islamic Republic of Iran: the “necessity for peacebuilding” and the “need to strengthen financial cooperation to reduce the impact of unilateral sanctions.”
“In the field of peacebuilding, a committee consisting of foreign ministers of member states must be established, which must be formulated and followed-up mechanisms for crisis management through consultations and exchanges on various crises that threaten peace and security in the region, particularly the operational department of the organizations that play their role.
According to Peshshkian, the Islamic Republic of Iran suggests that the “Special Explanation and Settlement of Shanghai Cooperation Organization” initiative will be strengthened as a practical mechanism for strengthening financial cooperation on the economic interactions of its members, regarding strengthening financial cooperation. The initiative is based on three main pillars: It will expand national currency settlements, reduce reliance on dollars for membership exchanges, establish joint digital infrastructure, utilize central bank digital currencies for secure and fast payments, and create a multi-faceted currency SWAP fund to support countries facing environmental pressures and liquidity crisis.
“We believe that the implementation of this initiative will not only increase the economic resilience of our members, but also transform the Shanghai cooperative organization into a successful model for building a multipolar, fair and pressure-resistant financial order.”
This is a developing story…
