On the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit held in Tianjin, China on Tuesday, President Pezeshkian met Tajik counterpart, Emomali Ramon.
During the discussion, Pezeshkian expressed his satisfaction with the continued positive interaction between Tehran and Dushanbe, noting that bilateral cooperation has been expanding in various fields in recent years. He highlighted advances in areas such as transportation, commerce, tourism, scientific cooperation, and people-to-people connections.
Furthermore, the Iranian president has also addressed the current situation in Gaza, condemning the crimes of the Israeli regime supported by the United States. He urged Islamic countries and international organizations to take action to prevent further atrocities.
President Ramon expressed his strong desire to deepen bilateral relations, particularly in economic, investment and cultural exchanges.
He condemned Israeli and the US military aggression against the Islamic Republic and reaffirmed the importance of Iran’s scientific, historical and cultural significance at the global stage.
