Speaking to China’s CCTV by visiting East Asian superpowers to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Agency (SCO) summit, President Pezeschkian said, “China is united, cohesive, decisive, coordinated leadership and is rapidly developing.”
“The country has a fully scientific, expert, and targeted development plan,” the president said, adding, “This political process is also a very good, positive step towards escaping one-sided things and moving towards multilateralism.”
“If we are to escape one-sided, we must essentially act on a framework that has just been written and signed at this summit. The US and those in power want to implement policies in the community through the use of force and sanctions.
“If you want to get out of this framework, you have to practice what you wrote at previous and future meetings. This means changing your behavior in the face of one-sided things. This means not listening to words about interaction, trade, sanctions,” Pezeshuan further argued.
“We must observe justice, fairness and laws among ourselves and other countries, and we must try to share development with the whole world,” he said.
“The US’s biggest rival in the policy it has been formulated is China. I say that (Washington) can withstand others with force, weapons, threats or sanctions,” he added.
“If the country cooperates within the framework of (China’s) belt and road initiatives, global development and peace will be achieved,” he said elsewhere.
