IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said at a press conference on Monday after giving a speech at the board meeting that there is no time to travel to Iran yet, but he hopes that the framework for cooperation will allow him to travel to Iran when it normalizes intense relations.
He argued that despite the fact that Iran denounced him and condemned his quarterly report on the existence of the US and Israeli Zionist regimes of nuclear presence in June, he did not share information with other states about the nuclear programmes of any country.
Later, in response to questions, he said that the activation of snapback mechanisms by three European countries to return UN sanctions on Tehran has nothing to do with agency actions.
Grossi also refused to condemn Israel’s crimes against Iran and the US-Israel aggression during the imposed war with Iran in June.
Elsewhere, he has announced that he will resume testing, hoping to reach an agreement with Iran in the coming days, if IAEA testing resumes.
Grossi continued to express his hope that Iran remains in the NPT.
At the end of the Prester, the IAEA director repeated his comments during his speech to the BOG meeting, saying that consultations with Iran have made progress and hope that the consultations will have result and that a new framework for cooperation will end in the coming days.
