In response to the Israeli regime’s attack on Qatar-based Hamas leadership, world powers, including Britain, Germany and India, have denounced Israeli airstrikes of Hamas members in Doha and sought restrictions.
British Prime Minister Kiel Starmer has denounced Israel’s strike and called for an “immediate ceasefire, hostage release and a massive surge in aid to Gaza.”
India is worried about Israeli airstrikes in Doha and is calling for restraints to ensure peace and security in the region are not at risk, India’s Foreign Ministry noted.
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadefal said Israel’s attacks not only violate Qatar’s territorial sovereignty, but “puts efforts to free hostages at risk.” Wadeful urged all parties to make every effort to achieve a ceasefire and release hostages.
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Gil also condemned the coronavirus attacks by the Netanyahu administration on Qatar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity by the Netanyahu administration as “air bombings,” and condemned the acts of state terrorism, serious violations of international law, and challenged the principles of peaceful cooperation.
On Tuesday, Israeli forces said they had taken a strike in Doha, which targeted senior officials from the Palestinian movement.
