The announcement follows an unprecedented operation backed by NATO allies by the European Union and NATO member Poland on Wednesday in which they fired down a drone suspected of violating the airspace.
“(We) are drawing global attention to this unprecedented Russian drone attack on members of the UN, the EU and NATO,” claimed Radoslau Foreign Minister Sikorski.
“I have appeared before the past UN (security) councils, and our argument seems compelling.”
Moscow denied responsibility for the incident, and a senior Polish diplomat said the drones came from the direction of Ukraine, which Russia invaded in 2022.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said the drone had made a major attack on military facilities in western Ukraine, but it had no plans to reach Polish targets.
