Nasser Atabati, the Supreme Court justice of Iran’s West Azabaijan, said in a statement on Thursday that the defendants were found guilty of taking and taking photos of sensitive centres around the country and providing sensitive information to the Zionist regime intelligence officer.
They were charged with obtaining SIM cards, purchasing special phones for emergency phone calls with Mossad agents, and committing arson attacks in Tehran’s Iranian capital, outside of the cities, Sharud and Isfahan.
The quartet was engaged in identifying military facilities, fortress and sensitive facilities throughout Iran, and was paid in the form of cryptocurrency in exchange for spying from the Israeli army.
After examining documents provided by judicial officers showing their connections with Mossad operatives and working with the Israeli regime’s spy service, the defendant was sentenced to death by the Urban Revolutionary Court.
They were charged under Article 6 of the Act on Standing Up the Hostile Action of the Zionist Regime on Peace and Security and sentenced to death.
Atabati stressed that Iranian judiciary will take critical and deterrent actions against all who put public and national security at risk and advance the affront agenda.
He emphasized that Iranian judicial authorities would vigorously protect the values and national interests of the 1979 Islamic Revolution without reservations.
Over the past few months, Iranian officials have arrested many people for spying on Israeli Mossad Intelligence Reporting, following the latest Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic.
On June 13, the Israeli regime launched an illegal attack on Iran, leading to the assassination of many senior commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians.
Iran retaliated within 24 hours with a barrage of missiles and drones, followed by a series of retaliation operations under the True Promise III.
The United States took part in the war on June 22nd, representing Israel. At that time, the bombers collided with three Iranian nuclear sites in violation of international law.
In response, Iran has launched a missile strike at Al Udeid Air Force Base in Qatar, the largest US air force base in West Asia, in an act of self-defense.
The Israeli government, which fought, was forced to unilaterally accept the ceasefire contract on June 24th.
