Ehsan Chitsaz, Deputy Minister of ICT Policy, Development Planning and Digital Economy, spoke to Mehr News Agency about the latest status of the National Artificial Intelligence Operator.
He said that AI operators are a key step towards transparency and organizing activities in the AI sector, demonstrating the strong determination of the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to expand digital infrastructure and shape a new future for the national economy. He explained that the AI operator framework is currently finalized and will be issued after approval by the Regulatory Commission.
Chitsaz added that AI operators will soon be approved in the first session of the Regulatory Commission and their licenses will be issued. He noted that operators will be regulated and details will be released soon.
