According to the state-run news agency Bernama, Anwar can behave very fragmented by attacking six countries in just one week,” Anwar said.
Israel launched attacks on several countries starting Monday, including Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and Qatar.
Israel targeted the property of a home where Hamas leaders lived in Doha on Tuesday. The attack killed five Hamas members and Qatari security officials. Qatar was discussing a new deal proposed by the US to end the war in Gaza, which Israel has killed more than 64,000 people since October 2023.
Anwar’s six countries count includes Tunisia, where the world’s Sumud Flotilla was reportedly attacked by drones from the waters.
Tunisia’s Home Ministry said Thursday that its service “is doing all the research and investigations that reveal the full truth so that public opinion, not just Tunisia, but global, knows who planned the attack, who conspired, and who carried out the execution.”
Anwar said he will be attending an extraordinary Arab-Islam summit in Doha on Monday to show support for Malaysia’s Palestine and to condemn violence and “Zionist inhuman neglect.”
Since Israel launched the Gaza War on October 7, 2023, the extraordinary summit for heads of state will be the third joint Arab and Islam summit. The summit agenda covers Israel’s attacks on Gaza and the West Bank, occupation and annexation policies, and strikes targeting Hamas’ leadership in Doha.
