Federal Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan arrived in Tehran on Sunday for an official three-day visit to boost Pakistan-Iran’s economic ties.
Pakistan and Iran share close ties and have signed multiple agreements between sectors such as energy and trade, local Pakistani media previously reported.
Khan is expected to lead the Pakistan-Iranian Joint Economic Committee and Business Forum during his visit to Tehran.
“During the visit, (Khan) will lead the 22nd session of the Joint Economic Committee of Pakistan and Iran and the Joint Business Forum between Pakistan and Iran. He will also hold meetings with key Iranian ministers and senior officials to enhance bilateral trade and investment cooperation.”

The committee meeting is held with the aim of developing and deepening bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, investment, banking, energy, industry, transportation and infrastructure, and is intended to expand the expansion of social, cultural and local interactions between the two countries.
