According to a statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, Sen. Mohammad Ishaq Dal issued a denunciation when he met with his Iranian counterparts and sang Abbas Aragchi, a bystander at the preparatory meeting of the Arab Islamic Summit held in Doha on Sunday evening.
The two diplomats strongly condemn the unprovoked attacks of the Israeli regime on Qatari countries and other Muslim countries, calling them a clear violation of sovereignty, international law and the UN Charter.
Araghchi and Ishaq Dar highlighted the pivotal role of the Arab Federation and the Islamic Cooperative Organization (OIC) that unites Muslims at this critical time.
They repeated the unwavering support of their respective countries for the Palestinians’ just struggle for freedom and autonomy.
The meeting was the prelude to a summit of Arab-Islamic leaders scheduled to be held on Monday to discuss Israeli military attacks on Qatar last week.
Iranian President Masudo Pezeshkian will be attending the Doha summit.
