At a bystander meeting at the extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha on Monday, Pezeshkian emphasized that continued violence committed by the Israeli regime is possible only for the assistance received from the US and European countries.
He emphasized that cohesive responses from all Muslim countries are essential to effectively countering these attacks. The president noted that the Israeli administration attacked Iran in the midst of indirect negotiations with the United States, saying the administration bombed the venue of a meeting of Palestinian resistance authorities while discussing proposals for American peace.
Pezeschkian condemned the recent bombings in Gaza and the suffering caused to innocent civilians, especially children and women. He called for Muslims to unite as a single force to stop these atrocities, and argued that the US and Western claims on diplomacy and human rights were merely counterfeiting.
The president further said Iran is ready to expand cooperation and deepen bilateral relations, and Harness will share its ability to share its capabilities with Iraq across all sectors for the benefit of both the country and the broader region.
In response, Prime Minister Al Sudani stressed the importance of strengthening growing relations between Iran and Iraq, and the need to promote the implementation of existing agreements.
Al Sudani pointed out that recent Israeli attacks on Qatar have shown blatant disregard for Israeli international law and require coordinated efforts between Islamic countries to take serious action against such violations.
He urged that the movement sparked by Israel’s attacks on Qatar should be maintained, and insisted on establishing a common Islamic Arab status, advocating for continued communication and coordination of Islamic countries.
The Iraqi Prime Minister also reiterated the importance of maintaining active diplomatic dialogue between Iran, the US and European countries, believing that a robust diplomatic front would limit the opportunity for individuals like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to impose stories on the world.
