The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) with senior foreign policy aides arrived in Riyadh to meet Saudi officials, including the Minister of Defense, with a focus on expanding economic cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations.
The trip marks the continued diplomatic exchange between Iran and Saudi Arabia after Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman visited Tehran earlier this year.
Mohammad Ali Beck, assistant to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ali Bagheri Kani, a foreign policy aide at the Supreme National Security Council, are accompanying Larijani on a visit to Riyadh.
The delegation will meet with top Saudi Arabia officials, including the Minister of Defense, to discuss expanding economic cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations.
This visit represents the third stop on Larijani’s regional diplomatic tour. He visited Baghdad and Beirut last month to enhance regional dialogue and collaboration.
